Confidentiality and sharing

It is shared only where needed for your matter (for example with the court, counsel or an opposing party's attorneys), or where the law requires it.
If you contact us through WhatsApp or email, those messages are also handled by the service providers concerned under their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
Information is kept for as long as needed for your matter and for the periods required by law and professional rules, after which it is securely destroyed.
Your rights
Under POPIA you may ask:
- whether we hold personal information about you, and for a copy of it;
- for incorrect information to be corrected, or for information to be deleted where we are no longer required to keep it;
- to object to the processing of your information, where the law allows.
